Report "E-Learning Course on Grassroots Innovation Management"

Introduction

Following the Experts' Group Meeting on Development on E-Learning Course on the Subject of Grassroots Innovation Management held in 16 - 17 September 2008 funded by Japan Fund-in-Trust a sub- subject of a project "Comprehensive Approach to Strengthening Science and Technology Literacy in Asia" Unesco has initiated an e-learning activate activity on the subject of Grassroots Innovation (GRI). The Experts' Group Meeting agreed to develop a set of course materials for delivery on an e-learning platform operation.

During the development of the course materials, there were five experts commit to deliver the lecture. The e-learning activities were conducted from 23 June to 4 August 2009. The arrangement of the broadcasting were facilitated by the Directorate General of High Education, Department of National Education of Indonesia. There were 11 (eleven) lectures given by 5 tutors come from 4 different countries on various subjects ranging from medicine, agriculture and energy. This report compiles all lecture materials, question and answers as well as student assessment. On the final date of the lecture, Unesco also announced an award to visit SRISTI in India for 3 (three) students who actively participated and submitted a good grade of student assignments.
